Anne Castleton Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anne Castleton (Draper, Utah), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 28, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Grant Thurgood and Ethel Alder Thurgood; and her sons, Doug and Jeff. She is survived by: her husband Grant; her friends, Don and Mary Alice Moss; her close friend Grant Whitney Castleton; her sons, Ron (Kim) and Jon (Wendy); her daughter-in-law Pam Pierce; her siblings, Janet and David; and her sisters-in-law, Judy Soderberg and Debbie Castleton. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Saturday, September 6th 2025 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Draper 9th Ward Chapel (12353 S 600 E, Draper, UT 84020).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Missionary Fund, a cause especially dear to Anne's heart.
