He was predeceased by: his mother Audrey Bradberry Washington; his wife Dorothy Edwards; his stepfather Rev. Samuel L. Washington; his sister Linda Cormier Goodwill; and his son Royce Eric Thomas.
He is survived by: his father Dewey A. Thomas Sr.; his daughter Ursula Bryant (Christopher) of Dallas, Texas; and his siblings, Alfreda Briggs (Lawrence) of Beaumont, Lisa Cook (Gregory) of Dallas, Texas and Lionel Cormier Sr. of Houston, Texas. He is also survived by 5 grand children along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
