He is survived by: his brothers, Randy Hyde (Carolyn) and Scott Hyde (Tawni); his son Mike Hyde (Sabine); his stepdaughter Deborah Dippold (Roe); and his niece Debbie Hyde. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
