He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Vernieuw and Ava Vernieuw; his wife Eudena Vernieuw; and his son Samuel. He is survived by: his children, Terry and Kathleen; and his brother Blair (Juanita). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.
