He was predeceased by: his parents, James Absey and Charlene Absey; and his sisters, Virgie Krummel (Daniel) and Rosie Larson (Ervin). He is survived by: his wife Shana Christianson; his daughters, Lexi Absey, Sydney Eldredge (Conley) and Alyssa Absey (Cody Atkinson); his grandson Baker Jon Eldredge; his siblings, Gus (Nancy), Roger (Becky), Casey (Patty), Lori Taylor (Doug) and Lisa Beste (Kevin); his parents-in-law, Kathy Christianson and Milan Christianson; and his sister-in-law Sara O'Brien (Kevin). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, dear friends.
