Though Lanny may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lanny touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gale Alvin and Phyllis Lorraine Mandeles Westerman; and his sister Laura Jean Westerman Medley. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Jane Martindale; his brother Sidney Gale Westerman (Ramona); and his children, Benjamin Lanny Westerman (Flavia) and Rebecca Jane Westerman.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the River View 9th Ward (11420 S 700 W, Draper, UT 84020, USA).
