She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Thomas and Lisle Thomas (Cloward); her daughter Cindy; her grandchildren, Elora and Vegen; and her siblings, Shirley (Clint), Virginia (Andy) and Lynn.
She is survived by: her husband George Simmons; her children, Michele Cook (Patrick), Brad Cook and Patrice Nelson (Kip); and her stepson Shawn Simmons (Katie). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
