He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Monroe Whiting and Anna Lena Nelson Whiting; and his siblings, Ruby Vonda Whiting, Selma Green (Ellis Collin), Delores Hanks (Dewey Ross), Oris Edward Whiting (Helen Estelle), Merle Whiting (Elizabeth Ellen), Glen Whiting (Connie Ann) and Delose Whiting (Patricia Ann).
He is survived by: his children, Ken Whiting (Vicki), Kerry Whiting (Cecy), Korby Whiting (Maria) and Kandus Bell (Brian); and his brothers, Bud Whiting (Karen Marie), Blaine Whiting (Carol) and Raymond Whiting (Claudia). He is also survived by grandchildren, (18) great-grandchildren.
