We announce the death of Ralph Paul Montoya (Draper, Utah), who passed away on October 3, 2026, at the age of 70. Ralph will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his mother Ermelinda Montoya; his wife Lisa J. Valerio Montoya; his parents-in-law, Ernestina and Cordelio Valerio; and his pet Daisy.
He is survived by: his father Gilbert Montoya; his son Jeremy; his grandchildren, Danielle, Alexis and Mekienze; his daughter Shastalee "Shasta" Rogers; his son-in-law Mark; his grandchildren, Bailey and Harper; and his siblings, Gene Montoya, Enedina "Eny" Christensen, Elaine Hansen (Casey), Johnny Valerio (Mary), Jimmy Valerio, Randy Valerio and Della Gardner (Roland). He is also survived by his godchildren; and many extended family members and friends.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Anderson and Goff Mortuary (11859 S 700 E, Draper, UT 84020). A vigil service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A rosary will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Therese Catholic Church (624 Lennox St, Midvale, UT 84047). A Mass will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
