He was predeceased by: his parents, John McKay and Jean McKay; and his sister Kathy Sandberg. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Sam McKay (Nicole), Levi McKay (Mollie), Shalice Peterson (Joseph) and Brian Butterfield; his siblings, Molly Welch (Brent) and Tom McKay (Paula); Scott. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
