She is survived by : her sons, Samuel and Eric Carda; her husband Rick Carda; her parents, Jim Defa and Marianne Defa; and her siblings, Laura Harrison (Randy), Julie Defa, Holly Baum, Jody Defa (Amy), Karena McPhie (Gus) and Marco Defa. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
