With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Yordis Nielsen of Duchesne, Utah, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 14, 2025 at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thorkild Wersland and Inger Brunsvik; her grandparents, Magnus, Ragna Brunsvik, Gustav and Hjørdis Wersland; her parents-in-law, Mark and Amy Nielsen; her son-in-law Brandon Robinson; and her siblings-in-law, Clay Nielsen, Kent Nielsen, Mark A. Nielsen, Robert Nielsen and Leneta Walk.
She is survived by: her husband Douglas E. Nielsen; her children, Lisa Majors, Debbie Nielsen, Todd Nielsen, Mark Nielsen (Teresa) and Jennifer Parker (Justin); her siblings, Swen Wersland (Dora), Fred, Lilly Caron, Glenda Mathews, Evelyn Day (Daniel) and Elaine Despain; and her sisters-in-law, Joyce Cottam, Barbara Barnett and Laurie Lee. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
