She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph S. Magnuson and Dorothy L. Plapp (Taylor). She is survived by: her sons, John Mitchell (Meg) of Alpharetta, Georgia, James Mitchell (Colleen) of Eagle Mountain, Utah and Peter Mitchell of Pleasant Grove, Utah.; her brother Gary Magnuson (Judy) of Hudson, Illinois; her nephews, Greg Magnuson (Kyrsten) of Noblesville and Tim Magnuson (Kim) of Pacific, Missouri; her aunt Carol Lindeberg (Carl) of Dekalb, Illinois; and her grandchildren, Spencer, Mackenzie, Hyrum, Joshua, Caleb, Rebecca (Broderick), Alissa (Spencer), Luke (Briell), Steven (Emily), Kristina and Adam. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
As her Alzheimer's progressed, she moved to Utah to spend her final year with her son James and his family.
