He was predeceased by: his wife Paula. He is survived by: his children, Rudy Paul Blackburn (JoAnn) and Lisa R. Shumway; and his grandsons, Jeffery Byrge (Marissa), John Byrge (Katie) and Douglas Shumway. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
