She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dr. Herbert Blackstone and Marian Blackstone; her sisters, Mary Ann Strong (Donald) and Ann Lott (Roger); her husband Jay Goold; her sons, Grant (Shelley), Phillip (Heather), Brian (Patty), Ken (Amee), Michael (Rene), Mark (Catherine) and Russell (Catherine); Grant and Shelley Goold.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Carol's name to the LDS Humanitarian Fund or the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
