He was predeceased by: his parents, David Curtis Cowley and Amy Leola Nielsen; his sisters, Delia, Amy, Jill and Jan; his son David Curtis Cowley; his grandson Randy J. Cowley; his in-laws, Delmar and Kate Jones; and his brothers-in-law, Douglas Jones, Kenneth Jones, Jack Canfield and Boyd Barlow.
He is survived by: his pets, Rocky and Willow; his brother-in-law Clark Jones; his wife Joyce Cowley; his children, Allison Keyes (Kevin) of Pine Valley and Jeffrey Scott Cowley (Lisa) of Enterprise; and his siblings, Elaine Canfield (Elaine) and Lynn Cowley. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
