She was predeceased by : her parents, C. Ray Peterson and Geneva Irons Peterson; her sister Marie; and her husband Max Edward Aycock. She is survived by : her children, Celeste Liljenquist (Joe), Ruth Holmes (Doug), Robert Aycock (Heidi), Lora Stewart (Brad) and Jennifer Petersen (Heath); and her sisters, Zina Woods, Christina Rae Chrislip and Debara Carroll. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Sonia's memory to the Perpetual Education Fund or Humanitarian Assistance Fund of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
