He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ernest and Clarice Heaps Griffin; his former wife Donita Hendrix; his children, Robert and Crystle; and his grandchildren, Colette and Ernie.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mitzi Borovatz (Tom) and Kelly Lundeberg (Kraig); and his wife Joyce Wagstaff. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-granddaughters.
