He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Lambert Van Fleet and Maretta Jane. He is survived by: his child Shelly Ropolo (Van Fleet); his children-in-law, Richard S. Ropolo and Jan; his sisters, Linda Housley (Van Fleet) and Vickie Butterfield (Miller); and his grandchildren, Ryan Ropolo (Jessie Ropolo), Ryan Terry, Joe Ropolo (Amanda Ropolo), Ashley Sorensen (Nate Sorensen) and Jaxon Van Fleet. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
