She was predeceased by: her mother Marilyn Myore Murray; her daughter Joy Whitmer; her nephews, Jackie Murray and Justin Myore; and her grandparents, Betty Appawora, William B. Myore, Dick, Katy McKewan, Julius Orrin Murray and Mary Mae LaRose.
She is survived by: her father James Murray; her children, Kristella Pike, Sunshine Conetah (Terry), Desiree Gardner, James Thomas Azbill (Arlene Kanip) and Christina "DeeDee" Lloyd (Ben); and her siblings, Virginia Sam, Kevin Myore, Cleveland Murray (Brandi) and Kea Murray (Kristopher Manning). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.
