Though Mary Mercedes may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mary Mercedes touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Orr and Blanche Orr; and her brother Wayne Orr (Kenneth Garr). She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Ward Garr; and her children, John Garr (Sue), Carolyn Kowalchik (Pete) and Donna Clarke.
The family will have a private celebration of Mary's life and will continue to support the Alzheimer's Association and Human Society in her memory.
