She was predeceased by : her parents, Daniel Benson and Agnes Eagle Steele; her siblings, Linford, Willis, Adriana and Lillian; her husband Sterling Whiskers Dutchie; and her grandson Chazz Linford Benson.

She is survived by : her sons, Malik Eagle Benson (Mary) and Benjamin Dutchie; her grandchildren, Faith Ortiz (Joe), Ceasar Benson (Alisha), Sergio Benson (Rebecca) and Malena Benson; and her great grandchildren, Sophia Ortiz, Jesiah Benson, Anthony Benson, Isaiah Benson and Emilyana Benson.

All friends and family are welcome to join us in celebrating Bernadine's life; food donations are welcome for the potluck luncheon.
