She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Lowell Shields and Louise Arundel Sudbury Shields; her children, David and Leslie; and her sisters, Lonnie Shields Gifford and Jeanniene Shields Rydalch.
She is survived by: her husband Fred Arlen "Buzz" Shields; her brother Arthur Kenneth "Ken" Shields; and her children, Tonya Passey and Clae Shields. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and dear friends.
