Maralee left this world on September 17, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Reuben Skogerboe and Rozella McGee Skogerboe; her son George S. Parkinson; her son-in-law R. Craig Pitt; and her grandsons, Christopher Warr and Adrian Courtney.
She is survived by: her significant other Claude H. "Squawk" Parkinson; her daughters, Doelene Pitt, Patricia Parkinson and Krista Sparks (Bryan); her daughter-in-law Jody Yager (Tom); and her sister-in-law Julia Skogerboe. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren.
It was here that she met and fell in love with Claude H. "Squawk" Parkinson.
