With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linden Charles Maxfield (Heber City, Utah), who passed away on August 3, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lavera Bailey Evans and Ellis Reed Maxfield; his grandfather Robert Burns Maxfield; his wife Wilma Von; his son Dennis Charles Maxfield; his siblings, Reed Robert Maxfield (Mildred), Dorothy Bailey Coulter (Marvin), Donna Cynthia Dahl (Rulon), Neva Jane Maxfield and Susan Lavera Hone (Shirl); his grandson Robert Keith Durtschi; and his great grandchild Ellie Mae Pullham.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Lynn Maxfield (Merilee), Bonnie Von Durtschi (Norman), Cindy Lou Richardson (Wayne) and Kathy Ann Maxwell (Kevin). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints - Charleston (3450 S 3500 W, Heber City, UT 84032). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Charleston Ward Building (3450 S 3500 W, Heber City, UT 84032).
