She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter McDonald and Elma McDonald; her spouses, Lovell "Chum" Ivie and Clyde Montgomery; and her siblings, Grant, Max and Nile McDonald.

She is survived by: her children, Brent Ivie (Holly), Sharlene Pollaehne (Andy) and Clark Ivie (Kathy); and her siblings, Donna Rose, Reta Sessions, Ivan McDonald and Rex McDonald. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and sixteen great grandchildren.
