She is survived by: her grandchildren, Karl Alexander (Rhiannon), Alessandra Gee (Geoffrey), Ryan Douglas (Suzie), Logan Alyssa Stutz (Austin), John Junji, Madeleine Kristina Ramos (Peter), Anna Bella, Leif Douglas (Abigail), Annika Grace, Tessa Noelle Villarreal (Miguel Asai) and Soren Michael; her great grandchildren, Karl B., Sawyer E., Eleanor M., Jack K., Mara J., Connor C., Colby J., Lucy E., Amelia S., Oakley R., Penelope J. and Beau D. The; her children, Karl L. Nielson (Jill C. Nielson), Dr. Leif Erik Nielson (Sheila N. Nielson) and Kristina N. Shimazaki (Junji John Shimazaki); her siblings, Betty Rae Casper Bishop (Ross) and Jay Casper (Annette Van); Patty Wray Deaton, Alexandra Sonntag Sonnenschein, Marianne Mortensen Etringer and Brian Adams (Carolyn). She is also survived by daughters and a son.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (965 N Locust Ln, Provo, UT 84604). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Locust Lane Building (965 N Locust Ln, Provo, UT 84604). A burial will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 2:15 PM to 3:00 PM at the Heber City Cemetery (680 N 550 E, Heber City, UT 84032).
