Bernice Mascarenas Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Bernice Mascarenas (Helper, Utah). Bernice, born on November 21, 1933, passed away on October 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Bernice for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. She was predeceased by: her brother Joe Crespin; her former spouse Benino Montoya; and her husband Antonio Mascarenas. She is survived by: her children, Beckey (Mike), Patricia, Ben (Shelley), Lou (Nickole) and Toni Marie (Sergio). She is also survived by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A prayer will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 7:00 PM at the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church (5 S Main St, Helper, UT 84526). Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mt. View Cemetery Mount View Cemetery.
