He is survived by: his former wife Phyllis McGowan; his aunt Phyllis; his cousin Lois; his daughter Nicole Allred (Cody) of Price Utah; his grandsons, Rahj and Bowen; his son Mike Hovat Jr. of Brunswick, Georgia; his stepdaughter Christin Smith (Kenny); and his sisters, Mary Tonks and Christina Baker (Shawn).
