She is survived by: her husband Edward Palmerston Platt; her sister Leslie; and her children, Ivan Leon Mow, David Lubuschagne, Jean Christine "Paddy" Mow and Dawn Sharon White. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
