He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester McInelly and Golda Woolsey McInelly; his wife Gwen Petersen; and his siblings, Verl McInelly (Marian), LaRona Callahan (Delano) and MonaRae Twitchell (Clarence).
He is survived by: his children, Donna Rush (David) of Mesa, AZ and Robert McInelly (Julie) of Middleton, ID; and his sisters, Edith Barker, Ramona Copfer and Caren Tucker (Therriel). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
