He is survived by: his brother Lee; his wife Lyla Finau; his children, Jaz Reece, Loni Coil (Corbin), Sela, Daniel Jr. (Emily), Andi Pekipaki (Pauli), Spencer (Sariah) and John; and his grandchildren, Mandy Derian, Donnie, Lyla Alana, Reno Reece, Addison Derian, Clark, Sela Jane, Annie, David Coil, Maggie, Hadlee, Noah, Olivia, Sophie Nock, Lesieli and Pauliasi Raymond Pekipaki.

Viewing was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Larkin Mortuary - Riverton (3688 W 12600 S, Riverton, UT 84065). A family service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Herriman Utah 15th Tongan Ward (6593 W Herriman Blvd, Herriman, UT 84096). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
