He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Lyle Platt and Alice Campbell Platt; and his siblings, Golda, Elmo, Clone, Ruth, Mary, Rocena, Olga, Phyllis and Walter.
He is survived by: his family, Cory (Nancy), Jeff (Wendi) and Lynn (Kara); his grandchildren, Heidi (Dan), Travis (Laurie), Amelia (Josh), Kristy (Mario), Jason (Jessica), Tina (Rhett), Alyssa (Andrew), Joshua, Amanda (Hayden), Miranda and McKennzie; and his sister Alice. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
