It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of MarJean Ballif of Hooper, Utah, who passed away on August 28, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Willmore Carter and Anna Leona Peterson; her husband Serge Lyman Ballif; her children, Brad and Kay; and her siblings, Clyde, Eudora, Leslie and Dean.
She is survived by: her children, Jeanne, Scott Spencer, Ann, Dick Hunter, Stan and Valerie Ballif; her sister Adelia Bell; and her great grandchild Kelton. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, with 41 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Thursday, September 4th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wildwood Ward Chapel (4675 W 5500 S, Hooper, UT 84315).
