She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Willmore Carter and Anna Leona Peterson; her husband Serge Lyman Ballif; her children, Brad and Kay; and her siblings, Clyde, Eudora, Leslie and Dean.
She is survived by: her children, Jeanne, Scott Spencer, Ann, Dick Hunter, Stan and Valerie Ballif; her sister Adelia Bell; and her great grandchild Kelton. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, with 41 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great grandchildren.
