He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Ethel Rauch and Homer Lawrence Layton; and his brother Mark Layton. He is survived by: his wife Eileen Layton; his children, Tyler (Nicole Layton), Chris (Kelli Layton), Janae (Jason Ree), Brian (Brooke Layton) and Kimberly Layton; and his siblings, Lynne Amaya, David Layton (Emily), Dean Layton (Margo) and Wendy Adamson (Andrew). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
