With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Guri Grindberg Wright (Hurricane, Utah), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Guri left this world on December 14, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Even Mortinus and Gunvor Dyrstad Grindberg; her siblings, Johan Magnus, Ingeborg (Litamor), Even Gunnar and Berit; her pet David; her husband Darrell Stout Wright; and her stepchildren, Derrek, David and Russell. She was also cherished by children, stepchildren, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She eventually returned to her "calling" in the Labor and Delivery unit at Dixie Regional Medical Center, tending to newborns until her retirement in 2012 following a diagnosis of Parkinson's Disease.
