He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Takau; his children, Kalistina, Joseph (Lexi Mae), Ammon (Allison), Enoch, Seth and Elizabeth Takau; his grandsons, Valor Viliami, Villiami Tomasi and Tomasi Takau III; his mother Lita Takau of Portland, Oregon; and his siblings, Valini Sanft, George Takau, Feao and Umu. He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces and nephews.
His death was caused by complications due to COVID-19.
