It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arlington VerNon Petersen (Hyde Park, Utah), born in Newton, Utah, who passed away on December 9, 2022, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Marinus P. Petersen and Mary Elizabeth Petersen; his children, Dorothy Mae and Gerald VerNon Petersen; his son-in-law James Edward Chance; his significant other Dorothy Saunders Petersen; and his siblings, Palm Springs, Lois Taylor and Las Vegas.

He is survived by : his son Eugene Neil; and his daughters-in-law, Rosemary Petersen (Eugene) of Beebe, AR, Luana Petersen of Coeur, Christie Chance (Kevin) of Hyde Park, UT and Carol Petersen of Farmington, UT.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 21 great grand children and 11 great-great grandchildren.
