With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Marion Cheney (Hyde Park, Utah), who passed away on December 26, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Lee Rawls and Marion Selar Cheney; his significant other Ann Cook; his children, Mark David (Lynnette Haltiner) and Marcia Cheney; his granddaughter Amy Cheney; and his siblings, Marie Lauritzen, Doreen White (Reldon) and Julian Cheney.
He is survived by: his children, Sherrie LeCheminant (Jared) and Dale Cheney; and his siblings, Twila Williams, Nita Hirschi, Lowell Cheney (GeNeil), Delbert Cheney (Kathy), Darrell Cheney (Kathy), Nolan Cheney (Mary), Mardell Cheney (Heidi) and Nadine Ward (Ed). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren.
