He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Hymas and Delca Hymas; his siblings, Richard, Keith Hymas and Marlene; his siblings-in-law, Eldon Jensen (Stu), Hope Hymas and Jonette Wheeler; and his in-laws, Ray and Florence Wheeler.

He is survived by: his wife Marsha Wheeler; his children, Travis and Michelle Hansen (Brett); his grandchildren, Carter Hansen, Adisyn Hansen, Beau Hymas and Davis Hymas; his brother Gary Hymas; his siblings-in-law, Marge Hymas (Richard), Beth Hymas (Keith), Regan Wheeler, Rick and Cindy Anderson; and his caregiver Bryanne. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
