He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary Loretta Rogers and Earl "Bud" Murray; his siblings, Lawana, Fontella, Dorthella, Earl Whitney and Loyd; his wife Mary Leone Oliphant; his children, George Orland Jr. (Star), JoAnn (Richard Winn), Rodney, Mary Beth (George Dean), Revon (Gary Babcock), Robert (Connie) and ReNae; his former wife Vera Hall; and his children, Vera Lyn (Lucky Wall), Vicki Lyn (Sean Searle), Brandon (Taylor) and Quinton. He was also cherished by 11 children, 43 grandchildren, 64 great-grandchildren, 32 great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Jensen Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (8775 E 6000 S, Jensen, UT 84035). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Bluebell Cemetery (12924 Bluebell Rd, Bluebell, UT 84007).
