He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Ernest Lawrence Hollings and Ellen Mae Adamson; his siblings, Kip (Brenda), Kandi (Bruce), Robyn, Collin and Travis (Sonja); his children, Anizella, Vanya, Lillian and Isaiah; and also, Mindi (Todd), Christopher (DeAnna) and Delores. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
