She is survived by : her son Kyle Schafer of Fredonia, Arizona; her husband Norman A. Howard of Mt. Carmel, Utah; her sister Carolyn Kroll of Upland, California; and her stepchildren, Norman V. Howard of Yermo and Monica M. Walton of Menifee, California. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
