He is survived by: his wife Mericia Fryer; his sons, Don Stephen III and Robert (Rachel, family: Manny Gurrola); and his grandchildren, Joanna (JoJo) and Gabriel. He is also survived by his adopted son and his family.
It was so hard to watch him struggle with the ravages of early onset Alzheimer's disease, vascular dementia and heart failure.
