He is survived by: his former wife Roberta Walsh; his son Robert Covey; his granddaughters, Nancy and Connie; his children, James (Lynne), Joel (Shauna), Ben (Kathy), Linda (Jim), Roger (Tiffani), Periann (Dave), Laura Tidwell, Lee, Nancy Shaw (Steve) and Connie Hurd (Loren); his sister Eva Johnston; and his sister-in-law Nola Carling.
