He was predeceased by: his parents, Kathleen McKnight Swainston and Parley Swainston; and his siblings, Mark, Janice and Parley.
He is survived by: his wife Kari Joanne Kreinheder; his sons, Lon Paul Jr. and Cody Swainston (Jade); his grandchildren, Cooper and Scout; and his siblings, Margaret, Matthew, Eldon, Mary and Annette.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Layton Creekside Stake Center (1480 W Phillips St, Kaysville, UT 84037). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
