He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert William Atkinson and Estella Doty Atkinson; and his son-in-law John Copier. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Llewellyn Atkinson; and his children, Sheri Copier, Kaye Copier (Rand), Denise Cowley, Leslie Comly (Alan), Marnie Kondo (Jeff), Damon Atkinson (Amber) and Cindy Montoya (Tom). He is also survived by 59 grandchildren, 67 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.
