He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Baca and Josephine Gomez Baca; his in-laws, Jesse and Adele Jensen; his siblings, Tony, Johnny and Rita Gomez; and his son Jeffrey Roger Gomez.
He is survived by: his wife Lynda Jensen Gomez (Temple) of Utah; his daughter Wendi Anne Gomez; his daughter-in-law Colett Hicks Gomez; his grandchildren, Caden Shae, Kyler Logan and Chloe Hope Gomez; and his siblings, Darlene Gomez, Rosalita Collazo, Gloria Ybarra, Cynthia Sandoval and Raymond Gomez II.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Lindquist's Layton Mortuary (1867 N Fairfield Rd, Layton, UT 84041). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
