He was predeceased by: his parents, James William (Bill) and Ora Elizabeth Nida Hammack; his wife Pearl Smith; and his siblings, Irene Rhinehart, George'Pete', Delbert'Deb', Paul, Jim, Joe and Joan Durst.
He is survived by: his children, Tina Barber (Carl), Lorna Gillespie (Rex) and Randy Hammack (Kelly). He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, along with many other family members and friends.
