He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas Conway Hamilton and Wilma Adeline Kirkland Hamilton; his brother Thomas Conway Hamilton, Jr.; his granddaughter Emily Hamilton; and his great grandchild O'wyn Cameron.

He is survived by : his former life partners, Mary Arnelle Donald of Newberry and Rosalie Elanore Leverett of Florida; and his sons, Robin Ray of West Bountiful, Danny Evan (Robin Sue) of Layton and Timothy Donald of Lakeland. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
